As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads and being the first point of contact with potential new customers. You will be working regularly with all members of the team and report to the head of Sales and Marketing.

Role Details

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting through via digital and social media
  • Identifying potential customers from a variety of sources, based on ideal client profiles.
  • Contacting leads with diligence and patience to generate conversations
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and determine if the sales process should continue
  • Use CRM to manage initial and follow-up outreach
  • Meet weekly lead generation quotas and goals

Job Type:

  • 30-40 hours per week (full-time)
  • Hourly
  • Remote with some in-office as needed
  • Contract to permanent track

Compensation:

  • From $15 an hour (depending on experience) plus incentives for outcomes

Standard Beagle is hiring a web developer to join our dynamic, user experience team.

We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment on a variety of different open-source technology projects. The right candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy a vibrant work environment.

Role Details

Responsibilities:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
  • Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices, and is familiar with writing accessible HTML.
  • Work closely with project managers and other members of the Standard Beagle team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Produce project estimates and timelines during sales process, including expertise required, total number of development hours required, etc.
  • Attend client meetings during the sales process and during development.

Job Type:

  • 40 hours per week (full-time)

  •  $58,000-$70,000 annual salary

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training program)
  • Proven work experience in web development:
    • HTML, CSS, SASS
    • PHP and Javascript
    • WordPress theme and plugin development a plus, especially with the Genesis framework.
    • Experience with a front end framework like React, or Ember.
    • Experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel a plus.
    • Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL a plus.
  • Experience developing and implementing software projects.
  • Self-starter with strong self-management skills.

What you’ll do

As an Account Manager you will create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients, manage ongoing projects by coordinating with team members, and develop new business from existing clients. You will be working regularly with all members of the team and report to the Creative Director.
